Strength training has been a part of my life for 17 years. Most of the time, training has been for functionality for the sports that I played, mainly baseball. Baseball training, as in any sport, demands the development of explosiveness, speed, strength, and body awareness. As my playing years ended, I gravitated toward the Olympic lifts. These lifts required the technique mastery of a baseball or golf swing, the explosiveness of jumping, and the raw strength of the deadlift or squat. Every athlete can benefit from learning the proper ways to train and generate power. I aim to bring first-hand experience of playing and training with athletes at a high level.
